Favourite Small Business 2027

Which small business would you miss most if it closed? Nominate the cafés, shops, trades and online firms you rate, then vote for them in ten categories. The business with the most votes in each category wins the title of Favourite Small Business 2027, and the winners are announced on the first day of Small Business Advice Week.

It is free, quick and needs no sign up. Pick a category, choose a business, press Vote.

How it works

  1. Nominate. Tell us about a small business you rate. We check every nomination before it appears. Nominations close on 31 July 2027.
  2. Vote. You can vote in every category, up to two votes in a category each day, and never for the same business twice in a day. Voting closes on 19 September 2027.
  3. Win. The winners are revealed on Monday 20 September 2027, the first day of Small Business Advice Week.

Who can be nominated

Independent small businesses with fewer than 50 people, trading in the UK, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland or New Zealand. Chains, franchises of large brands and big companies are not eligible. We decline nominations that are offensive, misleading or do not meet the rules, and we may take a business off the list if we see unfair voting.

Run a small business?

Nominate your own business, then share your link with customers, followers and your mailing list. Each business has its own link, so customers land straight on your page and can vote in one tap. Winners may use the Favourite Small Business 2027 title in their own marketing.

Fair play

We limit votes and check for unusual patterns, so one person cannot swing the result. We do not store your name, email or full internet address, and the short code that stops repeat votes is wiped after 30 days. Read our privacy notice for the details.

Favourite Small Business 2027 is a public vote run by Small Business Advice Week. It is not judged, and there is no cash prize. Run a business yourself? Take the Small Business Census and find your founder type.
